Basil-Parmesan Pizza Dough
Recipe can be prepared in all-size machines
1-1/2 POUND RECIPE:
water
1 cup
olive or vegetable oil
2 tablespoons
salt
3/4 teaspoon
bread flour
3 cups
grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
sweet basil
1 teaspoon
granulated garlic
1 teaspoon
Bread Machine Yeast 2
teaspoons
Directions:
Add water, oil, salt, bread flour,
cheese, basil, and yeast to bread machine pan in that order an select dough/manual cycle. When cycle is complete, remove dough
from machine to a lightly floured surface. If necessary, knead in enough flour
to make dough easy to handle.
Place a pizza peel or a greased pizza pan on the counter and
sprinkle with cornmeal. Roll dough out to the desired thickness place on the
pizza peel or pat dough into the pizza pan. Build your pizza with your favorite
ingredients, sauce first then meat and veggies and finally top with cheese. If
you are using a pizza stone sprinkle it with cornmeal to help prevent the dough
from sticking to the stone. Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven and bake at
450 to 500 for 8 to 15 minutes or until done. Pizza is done when edges of crust
are golden and cheese is bubbly. Makes 1 or 2 pizzas.
